WELL Equity Rating
Veris Residential is proud to be the first company globally to achieve the WELL Equity Rating portfolio wide. Developed by the International WELL Building Institute, the Rating addresses the needs and priorities of the most marginalized populations in workplaces and communities. For Veris Residential, the Well Equity Rating provides an actionable framework to improve access to health and well-being while celebrating diversity and prioritizing inclusivity with our residents and employees. It is an integral part of our DE&I strategy and a visible indication of our commitment to creating places where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive.

Our Transformative Approach to DE&I
In December 2021, we rebranded to Veris Residential, establishing a new ethos, with a strategic vision of a more equitable multifamily industry. Veris now integrates DE&I and social considerations into our business strategy and everyday decisions. As part of our transformation, we have strived to diversify our workforce across all levels. The highlights shared above are a reflection of our efforts over the past several years.
Employee Diversity Panels
We recognize our employees and residents who come from historically marginalized backgrounds through numerous initiatives, including celebrating Black History Month, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Pride Month, Hispanic Heritage Month and more. During these observances, we host panels during which employees from these groups candidly discuss their experiences and answer questions from the audience. These conversations raise awareness for the experiences of marginalized populations and open the door for more conscious employee interactions.
