What is the pet policy?

Veris Residential communities welcome domestic cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. Pets must be registered with the leasing office. All dogs must be kept on a leash while in common areas throughout the community.

What is the smoking policy?

All Veris Residential communities are 100% smoke-free. Smoking or vaping any tobacco or marijuana products in our buildings or common areas is strictly prohibited for the health and safety of our residents.

What parking options are available for residents?

Residents can reserve a space in Portside’s on-site garage for easy and convenient parking.

Has Portside received any Green Certifications?

Portside at East Pier is ENERGY STAR® certified. It has also received the WELL Health-Safety Rating and WELL Equity Rating.

How can residents submit maintenance requests? Is there a different process for emergency repairs?

Residents can submit non-emergency requests via text – you’re guaranteed a response within 24 hours. In the event of a maintenance emergency, residents are encouraged to call the community’s emergency phone number for a more immediate response.

Are residents able to sublet their apartments?

No, residents are not able to sublet.

Is renter’s insurance required?

Yes, a minimum coverage of $100,000 is required. All leaseholders must be listed on the insurance policy.

Are residents required to pay a security deposit? If so, how much is it?

Yes, residents must pay a security deposit between $1,000 and a month and a half of rent.

Which utilities are residents responsible for?

Residents are responsible for water, electricity and cable/internet. Gas is included in the monthly price of rent.

How do residents pay rent?

Residents pay their rent through Bilt Rewards. Bilt allows residents collect points with each payment, which can then be converted into rewards for travel, dining, future rent payments and more.
