St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
As a global citizen, Veris Residential’s commitments extend beyond those to our residents and the communities where they live—which is why our partnerships with organizations like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are so important.
In 2023, the Veris Residential community came together, raising $63,520 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—in addition to our annual corporate donation—to provide life-saving treatment, housing, food and transportation at no cost to those suffering from catastrophic pediatric diseases, as well as fund research that, thus far, has helped push the childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to 80% in the U.S

Ensuring our supply chain is ethical and stable protects the well-being of the communities with which we engage. By carefully selecting suppliers, Veris mitigates the possibilities of undeclared work, forced labor or noncompliance with working hours; environmental risks from the use of products dangerous for people or non-compliant with environmental regulations; and ethical risks like corruption. These mitigations, combined with investment in and support of diverse suppliers, benefit not only our organization but also our clients’ operations and our global communities.

Developing Port Imperial, New Jersey
Once the site of abandoned rail yards, manufacturing plants and port operations, the Weehawken neighborhood has undergone a radical transformation largely due to the work of Veris Residential. We began executing our vision for Port Imperial in the late 1990, transforming the area into a community as we funded and oversaw a $100 million infrastructure and off-site improvement investment in the area. These improvements included the waterfront esplanade and Weehawken’s Waterfront Park and Recreation Center and improved public transportation.
