Cocina Mexicana & Tequila Bar will offer a full-service indoor and outdoor dining space at Haus25 at 25 Christopher Columbus Drive. The eatery will help anchor the ground-floor retail space at the recently completed, 750-unit building in the downtown, which is now leased up after opening last year to strong demand from renters.

The transaction, reported by Jersey Digs last fall, is the largest office sale this year in the entire United States by nearly $150 million and the largest multi-tenant office sale in the history of New Jersey.

Veris Residential Completes Lease-Up of 750-Unit Apartment Tower in Jersey City.

Malhari said that because DEI is so multifaceted and has so many areas that are hard to gauge, the framework of a rating is helpful.

“We are very excited about this partnership,” Veris Chief Executive Officer Mahbod Nia says of the collaboration in an interview with Real Reporter, explaining the union evolved out of an “in-house think tank” assembled in 2022 as a way of bringing together staffers from different company disciplines to promote best practices and “forward-thinking” changes with encouragement, striking gold in a recent instance where a facilities manager cut heating costs in one project by 50 percent simply by making a non-invasive, cost-free adjustment.
