The Veris Promise is our pledge that we provide services far above other premier communities; it’s our guarantee of excellence at every turn, from an unparalleled welcome home to all-encompassing programs that you can consistently count on. Though the program officially launched last year, many of its core features were already being executed wordlessly by our community staff in the background. 

What is the Veris Promise?

The Veris Promise consists of many benefits, programs and operational practices, with a guarantee of consistent, best-in-class service on every front. No matter what the issue may be, you’ll find a solution with us.

30-DAY MOVE-IN GUARANTEE

Sometimes we make the wrong choice for the right reasons. We hope everyone who chooses a Veris community is happy with their decision, but we understand plans change. If things don’t work out, we give our residents the option to end their lease early during its first 30 days, no questions asked.

MAINTENANCE GUARANTEE

No matter what issue residents may experience in their home, our expert maintenance teams are on top of it, and we promise to respond to every maintenance request within 24 hours. If we don’t respond in time, residents are compensated with points through Bilt Rewards (more on that later) and we donate to one of our philanthropic partners: Habitat for Humanity, Ecologi, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Boys & Girls Clubs or the American Red Cross.

PET POLICY

Whether you’ve adopted a pet already or want to bring one into your life, you don’t need to worry about breed or size restrictions. We promise to accept domestic cats and dogs of all sizes, with no breed restrictions whatsoever. We also partner with local shelters, offering special discounts to residents who adopt pets in need.

CURATED BRAND PARTNERS

When our residents move into a Veris property, they join our community. That comes with the perk of enhanced customer experiences from our partner brands, with offers only available to community residents. From well-known companies like Taskrabbit to small, boutique shops, we promise you an elevated experience to upgrade your lifestyle through our curated partnership program.

BILT RESIDENT REWARDS

With the most recent addition to The Veris Promise, Bilt Rewards, our community members are now able to earn rewards on rent payments every month, collecting points that can turn into opportunities for travel, wellness, assistance with future rent payments and much, much more.

75-POINT MOVE-IN PREPARATION & INSPECTION

Every apartment is subject to our 75-point checklist before you move in, ensuring that your new home is clean, functional and ready for you to enjoy. This includes everything from checking appliance functionality to scrubbing grout. If you find something out of place, we provide a one-day concession to get it fixed. There’s no place like home, and our residents deserve to enjoy having a Veris community as theirs!

WELL EQUITY & WELL HEALTH-SAFETY RATED SPACES

While other communities will conduct in-house inspections and audits to keep everything up to snuff, we take it to the next level by partnering with The International WELL Building Institute. Every Veris Residential community has received third-party WELL Health-Safety and WELL Equity Ratings. We were even the first company to achieve the WELL Equity Rating portfolio-wide, ensuring our communities are not only healthy and safe but also equitable spaces where everyone has an opportunity to thrive. 

100% SMOKE FREE BUILDINGS & ELEVATOR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS

Fresh air is important, and secondhand smoke is not to be underestimated. We promise our residents 100% smoke-free communities, guarantying fresh air for everyone. Moreover, our cleaning vendors have committed to using only green cleaning products, and some Veris properties even feature elevator purification systems to eliminate air pollution in confined spaces.
