Snowball Friendly from The BLVD Collection

True to his name, Snowball Friendly is incredibly social and affectionate. When he's not lounging on his tree, taking in the stunning views at The BLVD Collection, he's the first to the door every time a visitor or neighbor stops by, ensuring he can give them a warm, cuddly welcome.

What is your current position with Veris?

Marketing Manager

How long have you been with the company?

12 years

Have you worked at any locations other than the corporate office?

Yes, I started as a Leasing Specialist at one of our former communities. After working at two other communities, I became Program Director for our communities in Port Imperial and Jersey City, handling all of their resident events. In 2020 we assembled a team and started planning events for the rest of our communities. I became a Marketing Manager in 2022 and currently work with our communities in Port Imperial, as well as Haus25, Liberty Towers, The James and Quarry Place.

What is your favorite sustainable company initiative?

Totally biased opinion, but we are definitely embracing the bees in my house! I have learned so much about biodiversity and climate change from our urban beekeeping initiative.

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a long day?

Taking long walks with my rescue dog Sprinkle and reading to my kids before bed.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?

Marilyn Monroe or James Dean. I feel like they would both have a lot of amazing stories to tell.

What motivates you to do your best work each day?

Being creative and pushing boundaries are the top motivators for me. I love that we can explore so many different paths in marketing and find solutions for problems in unexpected places.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Australia is somewhere I am hoping to get to in the next ten or so years, when the kids get a little older. We worked with Australia Zoo on virtual events during Covid, and Steve Irwin has inspired my curiosity about conservation.

During Women's History Month in March, our Women's Network volunteered at The Nurturing Place daycare, spending quality time with children and providing support. We're proud of our team for embodying the month's spirit by uplifting future generations and supporting working mothers through impactful community action.
